Do I need to stake or lock my 0XOF?

No. Just hold 0XOF in your wallet. Nǔ accrues automatically based on your daily balance. No staking contract, no lock-up period.

What if I sell mid-month?

Your Nǔ is pro-rated using the time-weighted average balance (TWAB) method. If you hold for half the month and sell, you earn Nǔ for the days you held. See Accrual for details.

What backs 0XOF reserves?

Liquid WAEMU sovereign bonds. The protocol deploys reserves into government bonds issued by the 8-country West African monetary union, backed by an explicit French Treasury guarantee.

When is the next distribution?

Distributions happen on the 1st of every month. Check app.agbo.to for the current epoch status.

Is Nǔ a token? Can I transfer it?

No. Nǔ is an off-chain loyalty point tracked by the protocol. It is not a token and cannot be transferred.

What's the minimum balance to earn Nǔ?

There is no minimum. Any amount of 0XOF in your wallet accrues Nǔ proportionally.

Does 0XOF in liquidity pools earn Nǔ?

Currently, only 0XOF held directly in your wallet (EOA or smart account) earns Nǔ. 0XOF deposited in Aerodrome LP positions or other DeFi protocols does not accrue Nǔ.

What happens when the genesis pilot cap is reached?

Once the genesis cap is reached, new purchases from the pool are paused. Existing holders continue earning Nǔ. New entrants join a waitlist for the next tranche. See Genesis Pilot.
