Accrual

Nǔ points accrue daily based on your 0XOF balance. No staking, no lock-up — just hold.

Method: Time-Weighted Average Balance (TWAB)

The protocol takes a daily snapshot of every 0XOF wallet balance. Your share of Nǔ points is proportional to your time-weighted average balance over the epoch (month).

This means:

• If you hold all month, you earn the full pro-rata share.
• If you buy mid-month, you earn proportionally for the days you held.
• If you sell mid-month, you stop accruing from that point.

Formula

Your Nǔ accrual is calculated as:

your_share = your_TWAB / total_TWAB

The more 0XOF you hold, and the longer you hold it, the larger your share of Nǔ points.

Partial month

If you buy 0XOF on the 15th of a 30-day month, your TWAB for that month is half of your balance — because you held for half the days. This ensures fair, pro-rated accrual for everyone.
